Introduction to the Chaos Arena


The Chaos Arena is a special dungeon that can only be accessed 6 times each day. To access the Chaos Arena, you will need to craft a Miracle Key and use it on the special sign in Bloody Ice. Once there, your party will face terrible odds and a Final Mob Boss, each of which grows more powerful based on the level of the Chaos Arena you challenge. Here are the basics that you will need to know about the Chaos Arena:

Miracle Keys



Before you can enter the Chaos Arena, you need to craft a Miracle Key. Miracle Keys can be crafted by any character regardless of their crafting level with a 100% success rate as long as they have all of the necessary recipe items. There are five levels of Miracle Keys that can be created from crafting items and formula card which are dropped by monsters. Here is a list of the keys, the level that you must be to enter that Arena level, and the recipe items you need:

Entry


Chaos Arena
The Chaos Arena can only be accessed at certain times during the day on specific channels. These times and channels will be posted on our website and, if there are any changes, a GM will announce them in-game. Once you have a Miracle Key for your level, go to the sign posted next to the Core Alchemist in Bloody Ice (X,Y: 11,30) on one of the Chaos Arena channels to access the Arena. Only 21 players can access each level of the Chaos Arena at one time so, if you are not one of the first 21 from your level range on each of these channels, you will have to wait until the next time the Chaos Arena becomes available.

Fighting in the Chaos Arena



Each Chaos Arena is only open 25 minutes including waiting time and the entrance gate will automatically disappear 5 minutes after the Chaos Arena opens. The Arena is randomly filled with various monsters that offer high level drops. As time passes, the monsters that spawn into the Arena grow stronger until the Final Mob Boss appears. The Chaos Arena stays up until either the Final Mob Boss is killed or 25 minutes have passed. Players who die in the Chaos Arena will be instantly expelled from the Arena. If you have an Odd Circle, you can use it once, but after that you cannot get back into the Chaos Arena. Nation Wars have many soldiers, but only a few can be called true heroes of the war. These heroes are not just capable combatants, but they also know exactly where they are most needed and how to do the most damage to their enemies' forces. For as long as these wars have raged on, these heroes have had no reward other than the spoils of the battlefield and the thanks of their grateful nations.

Once the wars started to change the very face of Nevareth, however, these heroes found that they were more than just soldiers. They were leaders of men and women, able to rally their forces in battle and to coordinate deadly strikes with the full support of those around them. As their honor grew, they found themselves capable of feats that made them stand out with an almost heavenly glow.

Guardians



The top 10 Nation War soldiers in each battle style will be that server's Guardians. That means that each server will have 60 Guardians total. Guardians represent the best from each battle style and earn their ranking by receiving the highest combination of kills and points within a week of Mission Wars. Heroes must also participate in 7 Mission Wars to be eligible to be selected as a Guardian and you will be able to tell if you qualify because your point total will be in yellow.

Whether you become a Storm Guardian of Procyon or a Luminosity Guardian of Capella, you will receive great gifts for your dedication. Here is a list of bonuses that Guardians receive:

Bringers



The best of the Guardians become Bringers. Each server will have 1 Bringer for each battle style, giving a total of 6 Bringers. Storm Bringers of Procyon and a Luminosity Bringers of Capella receive the following bonuses:

In addition to these bonuses, Bringers receive special signs of their natural leadership. Each Bringer enters the fields of war with a special glowing aura of leadership. They also gain the ability to broadcast messages to members of their nation by using the Shout (/L) command across their channel. Bringers can even give one trusted ally the ability to broadcast during the Nation War as well!

  1. Default [PATCH NOTES] Arcane Trace




    Get ready for the new Arcane Trace map, and the daily high-level boss battle against the Arcane Golem of Rage!

    Added new map: Arcane Trace
    • Requirements: Characters with level 180 and above, with a selected nation
    • Entrance:
      • Premium Users can warp directly there
      • Free users can enter via the Guards Reison and Levenson in Port Lux



    Added two new NPCs

    • Bren, Capella Drill Instructor
    • Kim, Procyon Drill Instructor


    Added a new daily Boss Battle
    • The battle will take place every day of the week
    • The battle lasts for 60 minutes, or until the Arcane Golem of Rage is killed
    • The Battle starts at 17:30 game time
    • The Arcane Golem of Rage drops a large amount of items when killed
    • Looting is only enabled for the winning nation
    • The two nations have to fight for control of various points on the map before being able to attack the Arcane Golem of Rage

    New Crafting System
    The entire system of crafting in CABAL has been overhauled!

    Reorganised Craft System


    • You can craft weapons, armour and accessories by selecting [Craft] > [Production] in the CABAL menu, or by pressing "F"
      • The CA Transmuter has been removed from the game
      • Extraction is only possible via the Extract button at the bottom of the personal inventory
    • Crafting is enabled for characters from level 50
    • There are now 38 crafting categories, including:
      • Craftman's Weapon
      • Craftsman's Armour
      • Master's Weapon
      • Master's Armour
        • Craftman's / Master's Token is required when registering or changing the category on each of the 6 craft slots
    • The Craft System has been reorganised, based on craft mastery and craft energy
      • Craft Mastery
        • Craft Mastery increases when productions are completed
        • The success rate / probability of making 2 slots / gaining craft mastery points depends on the character's current craft mastery
        • The maximum level of craft is 11, and the craft level depends on the craft mastery (0-999: Level 1; 4,000-4,999: Level 5)
        • If the craft mastery becomes full the craft level can be increased by paying a certain amount of Alz.
        • When craft mastery is full it will not increase unless the craft level is first increased
      • Craft Energy
        • Craft energy is consumed if a craft succeeds or fails
        • The total amount of craft energy increases as crafting is levelled
        • 5 points of craft energy recharges every minute, whether or not you are logged in to the game
        • When your craft energy becomes too low crafting will be impossible

    New quests to introduce the overhauled crafting system
    • The quest "Intro to Craft - Craftsman Course" can be started at the Craft Merchant Chloe in Port Lux
      • Only available for characters above level 50 (Battle Style Level 6 and above)
      • Completing the quest rewards a Craftsman's Token (character-binding)
    • The quest "Intro to Craft - Master Course" can be started at the Craft Merchant Chloe in Port Lux
      • Only available for characters above level 100 (Battle Style Level 11 and above)
      • Completing the quest rewards a Master's Token (character-binding)
    • Both of these are Daily Quests, and can be repeated once a day


    Added a new NPC in Port Lux "Craft Merchant Chloe"





    • Characters above level 50 can communicate with Chloe
    • Chloe sell the following items
      • Basic Crafting materials, Disks, Cartridges, and others
      • Mixture (for Damage Amplifiers)
      • Trance Force (Battle Mode 3)
      • These items have been removed from all other NPCs apart from Chloe


    A new Craft Request System
    • The Crafting System has been reorganised
      • You can request craft from Craft Merchant Chloe
      • This is only available to characters above level 50
    • How to proceed?
      • Register the item to request, and pay the required Alz or 'Chloe's Token' to Craft Merchant Chloe
      • Craft Amity is required for requesting higher level items
      • A request will require a certain amount of time before it's done
        • The required time depends on the item, and varies from a couple of seconds to hours
        • When the request is completed the results can be received from Chloe
      • Requests also has a rate of success / failure
        • In the case of a successful request the items will be made in the number the user requested
        • In the case of failure the items and even materials will be lost
      • The requests keep on processing even if the character does dungeons, take part in the mission war, etc
      • A system message will appear when the request is finished
    • Request UI



      • 1. Current craft amity of the user. More amity points = more possible craft requests
      • 2. The items that can be requested. Red marked items cannot be requested
      • 3. The time for request completion
      • 4. Showing the progress and results of requested items
    • Craft Amity
      • Items are available to request depending on whether the craft amity meets the requirements or not
      • The items are categorised by the craft amity requirements on the request UI
      • A certain amount of craft amity is given when requesting an appropriate level item to the character's amity level, regardless of success or failure of the request
      • No craft amity is given if an item of a lower level than the character's amity level is requested
        • In case of a character's amity being 2,500 no point of amity will be given when requesting an item that requires amity of under 1,999
    • New Daily Quest with a reward of "Chloe's Token"
      • Quest name: New Material Development Support
      • Started at: Craft Merchant Chloe
      • Level: Level 50 or above (BSLV 6)
      • Reward: 1x Chloe's Token


    Meister Level Items
    • These items can only be obtained by crafting
    • You can select the basic epic option depending on if the item is classed as a weapon or armour
    • When the crafted item gains the grade of 'Craftsman's' or 'Master's' it gains an additional option above the basic Meister option
    • For a Craftsman's item 2 options will be granted on a critical craft
    • For a Master's item 3 options will be granted on a critical craft
    • These items are classified by colour




    Craftsman's Accessory
    • The grades of accessory crafting has been combined into 4
      • Each Grade requires different materials to craft
      • The rate of success depends on the craft mastery. No points of craft mastery is given when attempting to create items of a lower grade than the character's craft mastery
    • The same grade of craftsman's accessory is required for accessory crafting

      • Possible to get craftsman's accessory by crafting it directly, or can be obtained by chance when crafting other accessories
      • If the craft level is high there is a greater chance to get a higher grade of craftsman's accessory

    Coin Lotto Item

    • The Coin Lotto Item can be used to create Lotto Coin / Potion of Luck via the craft request system

      • Lotto Coin (3 hours limited to use)

    New Charm Accessory

      • High (Orb, Crystal, Katana, Blade, Daikatana, Greatsword, Boots, Helm) effective on Lapis -> SIGMetal
      • Highest (Orb, Crystal, Katana, Blade, Daikatana, Greatsword, Boots, Helm) effective on Mithril / Lycanus
      • Using an Unbinding Stone on an item will remove the character binding attribute, but if it process fails the item will be destroyed
    • The success rate depends on the item upgrade level
      • A +0 item has a 30% success rate, for every +1 the success rate goes up by 4%
      • You can receive Unbinding Stones from an unbinding stone cube which is created by craft request
    • Creating an Unbinding Stone requires a Gem of Liberation, which is obtained from dungeons
    • Players can also obtain "Arcane Golem's Unbinding Stone, which drops from the mobs summoned by the Arcane Golem of Rage
      • The Arcane Golem Unbinding Stone can only be used on items of +10 or higher
      • On success the character binding attribute is removed, however if the process fails the item will lose 1 upgrade level
